The signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Silicon Craft and Chula in Developing Temperature Sensor for Blood Logistics
Silicon Craft Technology PLC. which designs and manufactures the smart microchip for RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) equipment signed the MoU in researching and developing the sensor and temperature sensing integrated circuit with Prof. Dr. Pramoch Rangsunvigit (the middle), Director of
Center of Excellence on Petrochemicals and Materials Technology and Asst. Prof. Amornpun Sereemaspun (the right), Director of Chula Medical Innovation Center, at the Ananda Mahidol Building, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. In this collaboration, we develop NFC technology to apply in blood quality tracking to remain in international standards. The system will track the temperature in the blood package all the time in logistics and notify if it finds an error or the blood is out of the standard. This information benefits for the doctors, nurses, and medical officers for controlling and enhancing the patient cure and treatment in the future.
