Customer Application Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Being a product champion in a certain product group. Well understand the product features as well as similar products from global competitors.
• Hand-on and being practical with Silicon Craft products and/or able to design the system which are suited to the products.
• Design a circuit, develop a firmware/software or any related material as well as compose technical documentation or presentation under supervision.
• Share feedback and experience from using Silicon Craft product to feedback product design in next iteration.
• Provide technical information of Silicon Craft Product to potential customers under supervision
• Able to execute continuous improvement in the team (Kaizen) based on instruction.
• Able to learn new knowledge with guidelines from supervisor.
• Other assignment

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics engineering or computer Engineering or computer science.
•  0 – 2 years of experience in Customer application engineer, Field application engineer, Embedded system developer, Electronics hardware designer or Software developer.
• Knowledge in electronics circuit and software development in any language is a must.
• Enthusiasm in semiconductor industrial, IT industrial or software development
• Good command of English language or TOEIC score 650
• Be a Lifelong learner with a business mindset.
• Good analytic skill with logical thinking
• Good at using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point or similar software.
• Able to travel to oversea.
• Knowledge in Semiconductor device or electronics product manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in Electronics circuit design and PCB design tools like Altium, Circuit Studio, KiCad is a plus.
• Knowledge in the following areas is a plus.
  – Experience in firmware development with C language and firmware debugging using oscilloscope with mainstream MCU.
  – Experience in PC software development using C#
  – Experience in Mobile application development.
  – Experience in cloud application development.
