Silicon Craft joined the grand opening of the KMITL Academy of Innovative Semiconductor Manufacturing (KAISEM)

On August 21, 2024, Professor Dr. Apinunt Thanachayanont, Board Director and Chief Research Officer of Silicon Craft Technology PLC, attended the launch of the KMITL Academy of Innovative Semiconductor Manufacturing (KAISEM) as part of the 64th-anniversary celebrations of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). He also contributed to a panel discussion on “The Role of the Academy in Producing Graduates that Meet the Needs of the Semiconductor Industry.” The event took place at the KMITL Lifelong Learning Center.

KAISEM, in partnership with organizations and institutes from Taiwan, Japan, Germany, and beyond, will serve as a Central Laboratory, uniting experts across various fields to drive research in semiconductor innovations and related technologies. This initiative aims to strengthen Thailand’s semiconductor industry, positioning KAISEM as a hub for education and workforce development with the ambition of becoming a global leader in innovation, or ‘The World Master of Innovation’
