Silicon Craft welcomed NXPO, NESDC, TSRI, and OIE to discuss driving Thailand’s Semiconductor Industry

On July 26th, Silicon Craft Technology PLC had the honor of hosting a visit from key government agencies, led by Dr. Chalothorn Boonlua, Director of the Strategic Clusters Development Policy Division from Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), together with faculty members from Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC), Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), and The Office of Industrial Economics (OIE). The purpose of the visit was to discuss strategies to drive the semiconductor industry forward in Thailand.

During the discussions, Dr. Bodin Kasemset, CEO of Silicon Craft, along with his team, provided an overview of the semiconductor industry and demonstrated the company’s RFID microchip products. The discussions covered various topics, including the ideal products for the semiconductor industry in Thailand, establishing the necessary ecosystem for the industry’s growth, Thailand’s competitive advantages in this sector compared to neighboring countries, the essential components of the semiconductor strategy going forward, and workforce development to meet global market demands.
