Applications

Access Control

In the hospitality industry, convenience and security are paramount. Ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance is essential for creating an exceptional guest experience and maintaining operational efficiency in any hotel environment. One of the most innovative technologies making waves in hotels is High-Frequency Radio Frequency Identification (HF RFID). Silicon Craft’s HF Reader ICs ensure seamless integration and optimal performance in any hotel setting.

RA10, RA12, RE31, and RE41 HF reader ICs support various HF communication protocols including ISO14443A, ISO14443B, ISO15693, and JIS-X-6319-4 (Felica), allowing hotels to use various types of HF RFID tags for their key cards or wristband or even use a smartphone as a virtual card. The RA12 includes the additional feature of Low Power Card Detection (LPCD), enabling power saving for the card reader when not in use.
