E-Paper Display

NFC IC with UART Interface and GPIOs for Battery-less solutions. The SIC4310 is an NFC (Near Field Communication) IC that provides a UART interface and 8 GPIOs (General Purpose Input/Output). It is designed as a cost-effective bridge for communication with a smartphone phone or NFC reader. This NFC IC enables wireless communication between devices, making it ideal for a variety of IoT
use cases.

Moreover, the SIC4310 can harvest NFC power and supply it to external components as battery-less operation by both powering the device and exchanging data.

In this demonstration kit, the SIC4310 is connected with an MCU and
an EPD (Electrophoresis Display) or E-Paper Display without any battery or power source on board. The display content can be updated using power from an NFC reader equipped in the smartphone, with an application used to transfer data via the SIC4310. This makes the kit an ideal demonstration of how NFC technology can be harnessed to create flexible, battery-less display solutions for E-Labels, E-Kanban systems in production lines, electronic visitor badges, and more.
